1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website www.rentanattire.com (“Website”), operated by Laitonjam Rental Solution Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) under the brand Rent An Attire.

By accessing, browsing, registering, or placing an order on the Website, you (“Client”, “User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refundable Security Deposit Policy, and Cancellation Policy (collectively, “Policies”).

If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use the Services.

• You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.

• If you act on behalf of another individual or entity, you confirm you are authorised to bind them.

3. Nature of Services

Rent An Attire provides fashion apparel and accessories on a rental basis, and in certain cases, products may also be offered for sale.

• All rented products remain the property of Rent An Attire or its listed peers

• Rental grants temporary usage rights only

• No ownership, title, or rights are transferred to the client

4. User Account

• Account registration may be required to place an order.

• You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.

• You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, or repeated disputes.

5. Orders & Product Availability

• All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.

• Rent An Attire reserves the right to accept or reject any order at its discretion.

• Product images are indicative; colour, embroidery, styling, and fit may vary.

• In case of unavailability, a replacement or alternative may be offered.

6. Pricing, Payments & Security Deposit

• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

• Rental charges, refundable security deposits, and delivery charges (if applicable) are disclosed at checkout.

• Rent An Attire does not store payment instrument details.

Security deposits may be adjusted or withheld in accordance with the Return & Refundable Security Deposit Policy.

7. Delivery & Return

• Delivery and pickup timelines are communicated at the time of booking.

• The client must ensure availability at the delivery location.

• Rent An Attire is not liable for delays caused by incorrect address, unavailability, or force majeure.

• Late returns may attract penalties or deductions.

Returns are governed strictly by the Return Policy.

8. Use & Care of Rented Products

The client agrees to:

• Use products responsibly and only for personal use

• Not wash, alter, repair, resize, or modify the product

• Avoid exposure to fire, water, pets, smoke, stains, or misuse

Normal wear and tear is acceptable. Any use beyond this will be assessed as damage.

9. Damage, Loss & Penalties (Client Responsibility)

Charges for damage or loss caused by the client/user are determined in accordance with Rent An Attire’s damage assessment and irreparable damage policy.

• In case of irreparable damage to a rented product, the refundable security deposit shall be placed on hold, and up to 30% of the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of the product shall be recovered from the client, towards depreciation and loss of commercial value.

• The client is expected to return the complete outfit/set, including all components provided at the time of delivery.

• Any loss, non-return, or damage to accessories, stoles, innerwear, bottoms, or add-ons forming part of the rented outfit shall be chargeable to the client.

• Rent An Attire reserves the right to adjust applicable charges against the security deposit.

• If charges exceed the deposit amount, the client authorises Rent An Attire to recover the balance amount through the original payment method or any other lawful means.

10. Fit Issues

If the product does not fit, the client must notify Rent An Attire within the timeline specified in the Return Policy.

Credit notes may be issued subject to:

• Timely intimation

• Product inspection

• Compliance with policy conditions

11. Cancellations & Refunds

All cancellations, refunds, and credit notes are governed strictly by the Cancellation Policy available on the Website.

No exceptions shall be made outside the policy framework.

12. Peer-Listed Products

Some products may be listed by third-party peers.

• Rent An Attire acts as a facilitator

• Ownership of such products remains with the peer

• Client obligations remain unchanged regardless of ownership

• Separate peer agreements govern peer relationships

13. International Customers

International customers may place orders subject to:

• Availability

• Logistics feasibility

• Additional costs or timelines

All disputes shall be governed by Indian law.

14. Intellectual Property

All Website content including logos, images, text, designs, and trademarks are the intellectual property of Laitonjam Rental Solution Private Limited or its licensors.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, or imitation is strictly prohibited.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Rent An Attire shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

• Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific order.

16. Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rent An Attire, its directors, employees, and partners against any claims arising from:

• Misuse of products

• Breach of these Terms or Policies

• False or misleading information provided by the client

17. Suspension & Termination

Rent An Attire reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without notice in cases of:

• Policy violations

• Fraud

• Misuse

• Repeated disputes or chargebacks

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

19. Amendments

Rent An Attire may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
